Shak's  Annual Poker Tournament is coming soon.  This tournament is by invitation only.  Someone who has played with us before must vouch for you.  This year is virtual so below the orange button is a STEP BY STEP GUIDE ON HOW TO REGISTER & PLAY. Please note that the payouts will be different than the links on these pages. You can find the payout info within the app. There are no fees to play and all money received is paid out.  No rake.

HOW TO REGISTER - A STEP BY STEP GUIDE

PLEASE FUND YOUR ACCOUNT AND REGISTER ASAP.  Do not wait until the day of the tournament.  There still is a cap on the number of players so you could miss out.
  1. Download the pppoker app by clicking on orange button above. This link takes you to the homepage, then:
  2. On iPhones and Androids you will download the app from your respective app store.
  3. On laptop/desktop you will choose the preferred download method (i.e. "download windows").
  4. Once finished downloading and installing, the "pppoker icon" will appear on your home screen.
  5. Open the app.
  6. Click "Register/Login".
  7. Create username and password.
  8. Skip through tutorial.
  9. Click "Profile" in bottom right corner.
  10. Click "edit" on the thumbnail.
  11. Change your nickname to something unique. Change your profile pic (optional). Click confirm.
  12. Click "Green Spade" in the bottom middle to return to the home screen.
  13. Click "join".
  14. Enter "1867337" in the top box. Leave "referral id" blank. Click "join".
  15. Lone Star Club will pop up, and select "apply".
  16. Once your application is accepted you will be in the club!
NOW THAT I'M IN THE CLUB, HOW DO I PLAY?
  1. To register for the tournament you will need a "tournament" ticket.
  2. To get a ticket you will need to send your buy-in ($100) to 
    1. ​​@fundmypoker on Venmo (Ross Poker will be the name); OR 
    2. $fundmypoker on Cashapp
  3. When sending money, be absolutely sure to include your cell # and pppoker player nickname that you created or I will have no way of knowing who to send the ticket to, and no way of contacting you if something goes sideways.
  4. Once your deposit is received you will be issued your tournament ticket--you'll see it show up in the Club backpack within the app. Then you will be able to register for the tournament.  Please send your buy-in, expected re-buys, and add-on money BEFORE the tournament. The add-on period is only 5 minutes and if everyone is sending at the same time there is a very real chance you will not get your add-on in time. Don't worry if you don't use all of it; any money not used will be refunded following the end of the tournament***so just send funds that you think you may use.  You will get the money back and it ensures you will not miss out on any hands while waiting for the Venmo or Cashapp transfers.
  5. As players in the money get knocked out, their winnings will be automatically added to their player account.
  6. At the conclusion of the tournament, prize money and excess unused funds will be distributed to players via their deposit method of choice.  Please be patient as it could take up to two hours after the tournament ends to complete the refunds.
